COVID-19 News Update
During the COVID19 Pandemic NTVS offices, programs and services continue however all Nisga’a citizens are respectfully asked to adhere to public safety measures, including:
- Maintaining social distancing of 6 feet
- Washing hands often
- Wearing masks
- Limiting groups of people in the offices at any time to less than 6.
NTVS has also developed pandemic related housing and accommodations programs to ensure the safety and well-being of Nisga’a citizens. Due to COVID19 we are offering supports for:
- Groceries (add image below as a link) gift cards ($100 or $50) to be mailed out, and
- Housing and Accommodation (add second image below as a link)
The NTVS offices were closed on Aug 18, 2020 as a precautionary measure due to possible exposure. There was no direct contact with NTVS employees, and no cases of COVID 19 with our team.

Post COVID-19 Economic Development / Programs and Services
Nisga’a Ts’amiks Vancouver Society recognizes that the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted everyone, in different ways, and that the world today looks different than it did at the beginning of the year. And as a community, as Nisga’a, we have the opportunity to look forward at new directions that meet our changing needs.
To meet those needs, NTVS needs YOUR opinions and insights into the programs and Services Nisga’a Ts’amiks Vancouver Society should seek to provide in a post COVID-19 context.
The survey, which you can fill out on the app, or through the included link, should take 10-20 minutes, and you can complete it completely anonymously, or you can choose to leave your name and email contact information.
You’ll be asked to think about YOUR current needs, as well as the needs of Nisga’a members living in the NTVS service area.
