Prequalified Employee and Contractor’s List

 From time to time Nisga’a Ts’amiks has temporary employment opportunities. Most often these opportunities are short notice and for a short time period, usually less than a week. However, we occasionally have temporary positions for up to three months duration. These positions may become available because of temporary absence of regular staff, peak workloads, or short term projects that are approved for funding with immediate deadlines. 

To meet the need to fill these temporary positions in a timely fashion, Nisga’a Ts’amiks maintains a Prequalified Employee and Contractor’s List.  Members who are interested in being placed on this list should submit a letter of interest and resume with contact information for two referees. The letter should indicate what type of work the member is interested in and availability.

These temporary positions are usually required to do administrative work, research and communication. If you have previously submitted a letter and resume to be placed on the Pre-qualified list, and you have not been contacted within the past six months, you should contact the office to ensure your contact information and resume is current.
